Some Remain, the alternative indie punk band from Sligo, Ireland, announce their debut EP Feel Low set for release on 18 July via Blowtorch Records. The EP will be released on all streaming platforms and a 12″ violet vinyl record. Please see the link here to order. The five track EP is self recorded in Sligo, with the title track mixed by M(h)aol‘s Jamie Hyland who also mastered the EP.
Formed from busking on the streets of Sligo and having played all over Ireland, Some Remain deliver catchy hooks and chaotic noise in their high energy live sets. They were part of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Longlist 2024 and have already participated in showcases such as Whelan’s Ones to Watch and Ireland Music Week.
The 5-track EP is the quartet’s most ambitious project to date with a mix of dynamic energy, sonic textures and chaotic instrumentation. The lead single brings the band’s signature energy juxtaposed with softer elements and melody in comparison to previous releases.
