Slender Pins have released their new single ‘Just Say Yes’. Making a name for themselves on the London independent live circuit the band have built up a loyal following playing the famous Dublin Castle in Camden every few months. Guitarist Alex shares the following on the new track:
“The music of ‘Just Say Yes’ was written during a long May weekend where I ended up having nothing to do but noodle around on the guitar and watch celebrity feud coverage. I like to think it ended up sounding vaguely like a garage band playing surf rock in space. Ash is singing about seizing the moment – like one of our prior singles ‘So Happy (90% Of The Time)’, it is breezy optimism with a twist. As he says in verse two, life’s beauty or lack thereof depends on how you look at it.”
Slender Pins will play the Dublin Castle in Camden on Saturday 28 February and have a lineup of shows coming up this year in support of an upcoming EP release, expected early summer.
