Manchester quartet Pyncher release debut single ‘Get Along‘, a track that captures the raw energy and chemistry between the band. Having built up a reputation with their intense live performances, Pyncher began giving fans a peek behind the curtain with a handful of releases. However, after a dispute with a distributor, they had to pull these exploratory excursions. The experience has given the band a new lease of life and with pseudo-debut single ‘Get Along’ they make up for lost time.

Initially written on an acoustic guitar during a time of personal change, the song is both an anthem of loss and a call for connection. After building layers of fuzzy instrumentation around this acoustic scaffolding, and dialling lead vocalist Sam Blakeley’s snarl up to 11 its fast pace and infectious energy quickly turned it into a fan favourite. Recorded at Eve Studios, the band’s collaborative spirit shines through as they push their creativity to the limit, experimenting with everything from tank speaker mics to tin cans for the carnival-esque middle 8. This boundary-pushing approach gave ‘Get Along’ an unvarnished sound, reflecting the collective drive and chemistry that fuels Pyncher. Speaking on the track, the band say:

“A blend of personal reflection and social insight, Get Along is an anthem for those searching for their place in an ever-changing world.”

The band celebrate the single release with a headline show at iconic Manchester venue Gullivers on 25 February.
