Here Maddy Street channels her frustration into an outlet that’s as euphoric as it is cheeky. Blending alternative rock with British pop influences, the Franco-British artist humorously recounts a tea overdose that drives her to throw convention out the window. The release is accompanied by visuals featuring her father, a former English punk, which extend the track’s authentic and offbeat vibe. Following the selection of her previous track by Rolling Stone France and her appearance at the Club Avant Seine at Rock en Seine 2026, Maddy Street continues to cement her place amongst the new generation of French alternative rock.
Maddy Street is a slightly cheeky Franco-British artist with a style all of their own: alternative, rock, electro, absurd and in-your-face. With two national breakthroughs under their belt and three years of touring totalling 150 dates, they are rounding off this promising start to their career with the release of a mixtape entitled No Limits, from which they will release a new single every two months in 2026.
