French Canadian DIY punk duo DVTR release new fast-paced banger ‘Né pour flâner’ (born to loiter), accompanied by a DIY camcorder recap of their recent Asian tour. DVTR comprise Demi Lune & Jean Divorce’s and the troublemaking duo pours out its bile on often surprising, sometimes awkward, and always salvatory soundscapes. Their unpredictable stage antics break all language barriers. This is fast music: DVTR is female-fronted, French-speaking and not sweet at all.
Jean Divorce shares the following on ‘Né pour flâner’:
“We’ve been lashing out at everything with our music recently: patriarchy, the death industry, corrupt cops, the goddamn Olympics and whatnot. 2025 is kumbaya, so here’s some POSITIVE energy, with a track about something DVTR loves, for once. Loitering! Let’s bring loitering back in style, ok bye”.
