Glasgow 4-piece indie rock band Dream Journal release debut single ‘One of Those Moods’. It was recorded with Jack Henderson Audio in a high ceiling flat to emulate a 90’s tone, aiming to keep the music as raw and organic as possible. ‘One of Those Moods’ is a slice of grunge including a guitar which seems to be unable to stay in its lane, static fuelled and edgy. The vocal is full of expression and the drums keep everything in check, apart from that wonderfully wayward guitar. On the outro however a final riff is given the space and room to shine, right to the very last note.
