Count The Days are one of a crop of bands emerging from Scotland right now. The quartet have shared their new single ‘No Rest’, the first new music since their debut EP Backs Against The Wall released January 2026. The wildly exhilarating track features Tom Rowan, the lead singer of SOAPBOX.

“We feel this track is a perfect statement to show the direction of the band going forward. The song is a heavy hitter about being burnt out and feeling stuck in a cycle doing the same thing over and over again. Recorded by Gianluca Bernacchi of Gallus, we wanted this song to pack a punch and maintain the raw energy of our live shows which Gian has encapsulated perfectly. Having Tom from SOAPBOX feature on the track was such a fun experience in and out of the studio, his snarl fits perfectly into the song.”
On 15 July Count The Days play a single launch show at Glasgow’s The Hug and Pint where Tom will be performing the song with the band to celebrate its release. The venue will provide the most intimate hometown show to date. Carnage is guaranteed.
