Salisbury punk rockers CARSICK return with raucous new single ‘Pub Watch’ via Alcopops! Records. Fresh from supporting hot property Essex Brit-punk duo The Meffs on their recent runaway success live dates, CARSICK will embark on their own run of EU headline dates this April. The band are also delighted to announce today select UK headline dates and a packed festival schedule for the summer, including appearances at Rebellion Festival, Boomtown, Sziget, Bearded Theory Fest and more. Their haywire live shows and no-holds-barred approach to the party lifestyle have garnered the band both notoriety and an increasingly ardent young fanbase, as evidenced by their notably packed out festival appearances last summer.
Commenting on the single, the band say:
“’Pub Watch’ is the soundtrack to the most chaotic piss-up of your life. From hammering too many pre-drinks to sneaking contraband into the bar to being kicked out for getting too rowdy, we’ve all had nights which have landed us in the town’s bouncers’ bad books. This is a track which has been a staple in our live set since the early days of the band and is a guaranteed pit-starter, so we’re buzzing to finally have it out there for people to hear.”
2024 was CARSICK’s biggest year so far, and saw them embarking on UK and EU headline shows, plus festival appearances at Reading & Leeds Festival, 2000 Trees, TRUCK, A Stone’s Throw, and more, with the band releasing their music-industry-baiting standalone single ‘Gig Tax’ to round out proceedings.
Already marking themselves out as one of the keenest, hardest working new young bands on the indie circuit, it seems CARSICK aren’t about to put the brakes on their impressive work ethic or equally impressive dedication to the boozer any time soon, with further new music and live dates TBA for 2025.
