Leeds based Adult DVD, known for their relentless hooks and euphoric live show release new single ‘Because I Like It’. The track is a feel-good slice of the irreverent lyrical style the band have become known for, with an infectious groove and super catchy chorus. ‘Because I Like It’ was self-produced at The Nave studios in Leeds and the 6-piece share the following on the track:
“‘Because I like it’ is about pretending to like anything, no matter how mundane. Just because someone else does.”
After the success of their set at the sold out BBC 6 Music Festival in Manchester, and their (sold out twice over in one day) headline shows in their hometown of Leeds, the band announced a headline UK and European tour in May and a run of Festivals including Green Man, End of the Road and The Great Escape. Whether tapping into their love for chorus-centric indie or the influence of acid-house floor-fillers, their core appeal remains consistent: undeniable humour; bold, danceable instrumentals; and instantly memorable songwriting.
